What do you like most about your job?

The people I work with and that knowing every single day the work we are doing is making a difference in our community in so many ways. I have never in my life been a part of such a positive and fun work environment where people not only believe in the mission but also believe in each other.

What is the best career lesson you’ve learned so far?

Don’t take myself too seriously and always remember to have fun.

What would you do for a career if you weren’t doing this?

I honestly don’t know. I did some soul searching before this job and everyone here at Second Helpings who was involved in my interview process will tell you that all I could keep saying was that this was my dream job and after 3 months, I still mean it!

Where is your favorite place to be?

Anywhere with the people I love. If we’re talking geographically then out in nature, preferably in the woods- somewhere I can see the stars.

‘Faith does not make things easy; it makes them possible.’
