Second Helpings is not only addressing the immediate needs of individuals in our community by providing nutritious meals but also offering valuable culinary job training.
  • What’s something you like to do outside of work? I’m really into sound design and audio engineering, and you’ll often find me gaming. I also have a passion for cooking and enjoy experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

With the seemingly simple act of keeping food out of the landfill, we are not only helping keep our planet healthy, we are providing vital meals to those who need them. By providing the most basic need, food, we are eliminating one barrier from folks’ daily lives, allowing them to focus on other things they need.
  • What’s something you like to do outside of work? Hiking with my wonderful husband Jeff and adorable dog Lincoln. Frequenting local food and beverage purveyors. Spending quality time with our amazing friends.

The ability to use donated food and volunteer hours to provide free nutrition, served at existing non-profits located in the areas with the greatest needs, where more than 100 local nonprofits’ cost savings result in more services or higher quality services for our community, is amazing!
