Indy Burger Week: June 25 – July 1, 2018

We have partnered with our friends at NUVO for another one of their wildly popular Indy Food & Drink Weeks, offering Indy residents a discount on delicious food at some of their favorite, local restaurants. This time we’re celebrating burgers!

Indy Burger Week presented by Red Gold Tomatoes is a week-long celebration of the All-American favorite: the hamburger. NUVO partnered with local restaurants and chefs to offer customer’s a budget-friendly (JUST $5!) deal all over the city all while supporting a good cause. Don’t miss the map of participating locations at the bottom of this post.

As usual, 20% of restaurant registration fees and sponsorship money will support Second Helpings’ food rescue, hunger relief and culinary job training efforts. While the number of burgers you eat during Indy Burger Week will not directly contribute to the size of the donation, we highly encourage you to support the restaurants who are giving so generously to combat hunger in Central Indiana. Many of these restaurants also hire the graduates from our Culinary Job Training program, and donate excess food that allows Second Helpings volunteers to send 4,000 meals to 87 different partner agencies for free each day. This local restaurant community is critical to our mission to transform lives through the power of food.
