On Thursday, May 18, celebrated Indianapolis Chef Steve Oakley will compete against Bobby Flay on his long-running Food Network show, Beat Bobby Flay. Thirteen year-old Sabrina Richard is already a veteran of the Food Network as a guest judge on Beat Bobby Flay and a contestant on Rachael Ray’s Kids Cook-off. She and Chef Steve Oakley have cooked cup a couple of special events to highlight Hoosier Cuisine.
Steve and Sabrina will delight guests with skills, techniques and stories from their Food Network experiences during a combined cooking demonstration at Oakley’s Bistro on May 21 (2-3pm). Each will be assisted by members of students enrolled in our free Culinary Job Training program. Guests will get to taste samples and bid on a few, fun items and experiences.
All proceeds will benefit Second Helpings’ food rescue, hunger relief and job training programs. Bring the whole family!
