Your gift allows Second Helpings to fight hunger from all angles, by supporting our Food Rescue, Hunger Relief, and Culinary Job Training programs.

What your support does to fight hunger in Central Indiana:

  • $1,000 provides 142 grab-and-go meals for families of four to reduce risk of exposure for children and their parents
  • $500 covers the cost of rescuing 2,777 pounds of food and provides ingredients to meet the nutritional needs of vulnerable Hoosiers
  • $250 covers the cost of textbooks and uniform for one Culinary Job Training student
  • $100 buys 57 meals for children in low-income day cares and after-school programs

This policy explains how we gather, use, and protect personal information submitted to us.

Second Helpings respects the privacy of our donors, volunteers, students, staff members and other visitors to our website and/or facility. The information we collect is only used to complete the actions or provide the services that have been requested. Your name, address, phone number or credit card information will not be used outside of our organization. We do not lend, sell or trade personal information gathered with anyone else, nor do we send mailings on behalf of other organizations. The only time information would be shared is when the donor, volunteer, student, or staff member has been given specific permission to do so.

A donor may choose to remain an anonymous donor at any time. We subscribe and adhere to the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ (AFP) Donor Bill of Rights.
